A TROWELL councillor has vowed that a link road from the proposed Stanton development to the village will only be built 'over his dead body.'

More than 100 angry villagers turned out to discuss plans to fight the plan for the road to link the 3,000-home development of the former ironworks with the A6007 Stapleford Road in Trowell.
